Our Cabinetry

What sets our cabinetry apart from the others?

Our cabinetry is perfectly tailored, the drawers operate quietly and smoothly, and the finishes are rich and deep.

Our face frames are set flush with the cabinet bottoms, meaning no “lip” to catch dirt when cleaning the inside of your cabinets! You will find many simple features like this in our cabinetry. It’s what makes our cabinetry different.

If buying American is important to you, you will be pleased to know that almost all of the components we use are made in USA, and our drawer slides and other hardware are high quality European products.

There are many choices when it comes to cabinetry.  Many factory, or mass manufactured cabinets can provide acceptable service for your home, however there are many differences between factory and custom cabinetry. Read on to learn more about our cabinetry...

Construction Specifications

Cabinet cases:

Our cabinet cases are manufactured using ½” UV finished, nautral maple  veneer plywood for the sides and back. The bottoms, tops and shelves use the same quality material in ¾” thickness. This product provides a clean and beautiful, true wood cabinet interior.  We use DOMESTIC, MADE IN USA plywood for all of our cabinet cases.

Open front cabinets, or those with glass doors are constructed using the same quality materials, but have interiors finished matching the cabinet’s exterior. We do NOT use melamine or other faux wood materials.

You will NOT find hot melt glue in our cabinetry!

Doors:

Our cabinetry features doors manufactured both in house, and by WalzCraft Industries, an industry leading cabinet component supplier. All doors are of the highest quality, made in USA, and we offer a generous array of styles and color combinations.

Drawers:

Our standard drawers are manufactured from 9 ply, ½” (sides and bottoms) Baltic Birch plywood. This type of panel is widely known for it's stability and durability.

These boxes are machined with locking tongue and groove joints at all four corners, and the bottom panels are machined in place, not hot glued and stapled.

This T&G joinery provides added strength and creates additional glue surface for added protection against drawer failure.

The edges and joints are left exposed to allow you to see the beauty of the wood and the workmanship of our machined joints. Our drawers are guaranteed to NOT fall apart at the seam like other doweled or stapled drawers.

Upgrade:

Our upgrade drawer is a solid birch, (½”birch plywood bottom) dovetailed drawer box. These come to us machined to our specs, and are of exceptional quality.

Hardware:

We use premium hardware in all applications.

Drawer Guides:

All of our cabinetry uses blum tandem®, ball-bearing, under-mount guides wherever possible. They are totally concealed, and are available with a soft, self- close feature.

Our door hinges are also upgraded to allow for easier adjustments and superior longevity over other cheaper brands.

Our rollout trays are cleverly mounted to an adjustable shelf, using ball bearing, side mounted guides. This makes for easy adjustment when you need to rearrange.

Finish:

Our cabinetry is finished with premium stains, paints and catalyzed conversion varnish. All of our finish materials are of high solids content, meaning that you get more build per coat than with lesser grade finishes.

Our kitchen and bath cabinetry is finished with a product that possesses exceptional moisture and wear resistance for assured long lasting beauty.
